Hi, I have been researching the travel distance issue with regard to the Veterans Choice program; the information states if the veteran is more than 40 miles from a VA facility as opposed to a VA hospital. As far as I know VA medical clinics do not perform surgery. Am I not comprehending the information correctly? If someone can help, I would appreciate it. Thank you. Holllie
